Amrit Kaur earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Guru Nanak Dev University, completing her doctorate in 2023. Her research, conducted under the guidance of Manoj Kumar and Vandana Bhalla, focused on developing fluorescent probes for molecular sensing of biologically relevant analytes, including reactive oxygen species and cholesterol. She has a strong passion for teaching and mentorship, having served as an Adjunct Faculty member at Thomas Jefferson University (2024–2025), where she taught organic chemistry and guided undergraduate students. Her broader academic interests include molecular sensing, supramolecular chemistry, and fluorescent materials. Outside the lab, she enjoys travel, cooking, and tasting the world one dish at a time.
